Milbank LLP has been named "Transatlantic Law Firm of the Year" by Legal Week and The American Lawyer at the Transatlantic Legal Awards 2019. The awards ceremony took place in London on June 13./

The Transatlantic Legal Awards recognize excellence in handling transatlantic legal work across a wide range of practice areas including finance, litigation, restructuring, antitrust and mergers and acquisitions. Entrants were judged by senior editors and reporters from Legal Week, The American Lawyer, and Corporate Counsel.

Milbank was honored with the top award, "Transatlantic Law Firm of the Year," which judged law firms' demonstrated leadership in transatlantic work and considered factors including legal expertise and innovation, strategic vision, business winning, client care, employee development, financial performance and commitment to corporate social responsibility. Judges commended Milbank for providing a "great example of transatlantic collaboration," following the growth of the firm's London revenue by 25%.
