In February of this year Simon Harrison joined the Firm to develop KBLs International offering.
Simon immediately set to work as International Project Manager and lead consultant for some 6 months acting for the Government of Qatar in the establishment of its new Food Safety Authority – a land mark project for developing countries around the world and which is set to be a precedent for such countries. Discussions as to how the project can be replicated has now been the subject of active enquiries from other parts of that region as well as Korea and Vietnam.
Since then Simon has been active in penetrating the new markets of Iran The Middle East and Africa with a soon to be officially announced Joint Venture with Iran as well as leading a cross disciplinary team of experts in establishing Australia first International Enterprise Zone which will engage domestic companies with a range of international investors and contributors to the development of the Zone.
Working with his fellow Partners, 2017 will see the further international expansion of Kaden Borris beyond its Australian, Middle East and Indian based offices: watch this space.
