Schoenherr advised the Schwarzmüller Group, an Austria-based manufacturer of specialised vehicles, on its newly formed partnership with the Krone Group, one of the largest manufacturers of commercial trailers and agricultural machinery. This cooperation between the two family-owned companies is intended to strengthen the joint expansion of production networks and the establishment of nationwide service worlds via a complementary product range. The transaction is still subject to merger control.
Located in Upper Austria, the Schwarzmüller Group is a major European manufacturer of specialised vehicles in the commercial vehicle sector. Its broad portfolio includes long-distance transport, construction and infrastructure sectors. The company contributes four modern production sites in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Austria.
Based in Lower Saxony, the Krone Group is one of the largest manufacturers of commercial trailers and agricultural machinery. With this investment, the Schwarzmüller Group will be part of the umbrella of Krone Commercial Vehicle Group.
