On 30 September 2009 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (the "CMU") issued Resolution No. 1071 "On Changes to Some Resolutions of the CMU" (the "Resolution"). The Resolution repealed paragraphs 1 and 2 of the CMU Resolution No. 767 dated 24 July 2009 under which exporters of goods were required to submit an export declaration stating the value of goods for customs clearance.

In addition, the Resolution reduces the number of documents, required for the clearance of goods through customs. Documents indicating the category of the goods, how they are transported, and how they are paid for, are no longer required.
