SSEK Legal Consultants has assisted NTT Communications (NTT Com), a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, the largest telecommunications company in Japan and one of the largest globally, and PT NTT Indonesia Nexcenter with the acquisition of land in an industrial area outside of Jakarta.
The acquired land will be used for the construction of what would be the largest data center facility in Indonesia.
SSEK assisted the client in completing the land acquisition with the counterparts. SSEK's work included performing due diligence on the land, drafting and reviewing the transactional agreements including the binding purchase and development, sale and purchase agreements. The SSEK team also advised the client on matters related to the data center business in Indonesia.
Denny Rahmansyah, SSEK's managing partner and a supervising partner of the firm's land and property, and IT practices, led the SSEK team assisting on the transaction, with Farah Nabila and Elga Karina Subiakto, associates of the firm.
