New Investment Services Rules For Alternative Investment Funds.

The Malta Financial Services Authority ('MFSA') has, on
the 16th of May 2018, published the following parts of
the Investment Services Rules for Alternative Investment Funds
('AIFs'):
- Part A – The Application
Process;
- Part B – Standard Licence
Conditions applicable to AIFs;
- Appendix I – Supplementary
Licence Conditions applicable to AIFs adopting different
structures; and
- The Glossary.
The Rules were updated to reflect the revised definition of a
"qualifying investor".
The revisions are applicable with immediate effect and can be
viewed in the full list of Rules for AIFs available through this link.
