The European Securities and Markets Authority ('ESMA') launched a public consultation on guidelines to be issued regarding the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR) under which ESMA has to develop the implementing details.

This Consultation Paper seeks feedback on transaction reporting, reference data, order record keeping and clock synchronisation.

All interested stakeholders are invited to respond to this consultation paper, in particular, investment firms, approved reporting mechanisms (ARMs), trading venues and systematic internalisers.

ESMA will consider all comments received by 23rd March 2016.
