The draft decree electricity and gas is now open for consultation up to 23 March 2015. This draft decree contains the implementing regulations on the amendment of the draft Electricity Act and Gas Act (STROOM) and includes both existing and new provisions. For example, there are new provisions about damages in the case of the late delivery or unavailability of the transmission system for offshore windfarms. The amount of damages depends on the volumes of electricity that the windfarm could have produced if the system had worked. Other new provisions regard the system of investment plans and the redundancy of the transmission system.
