Guernsey-headquartered private equity specialist Ipes has been named as the winner of the Fund Advisory - Administration Award at the unquote" British Private Equity Awards 2014.

The unquote" award recognises professionalism, thought-leadership and the ability to add value consistently throughout the year.

Ipes' submission focused on innovation and leadership within the private equity field, as demonstrated by the launch of an Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) depositary model in July 2013 which was the first to market with private equity in mind.

The award was judged by both an advisory panel made up of industry experts and a vote which was open to the private equity community.

In summarising the Ipes entry, the judges commented: "You can't argue with success. Their rate of growth shows they are doing a great job. They can work in very tight timeframes. Speed on AIF depository and coming up with solutions for clients on that side is very important."

Chris Merry, Ipes' Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are delighted to have won this award and would like to thank our clients and contacts for voting for us. Winning an award like this is a tributw to everyone in Ipes - it is recognition of our team's effort and achievement over a sustained period. We are thrilled that our expertise in fund administration has been recognised by such a prestigious award."

The awards ceremony took place at The Park Lane Hotel in London on 2 October 2014.
