There will be eight road projects for the construction of 503 kilometers and the rehabilitation of 756 kilometers. The three concession agreements to operate the airports of Bogota, Rionegro and Cali. Two projects for the expansion of the gas industry. The construction of a Thermoelectric plant in the department of Cesar, Termocesar, and seven different projects regarding basic cleaning and drinkable water.
The projected investments for 1997 and 1998, are of 2.8 and 2.7 billion respectively, and the National Council of Fiscal Policy (CONPES) ordered the revision of the applicable regulations in order to facilitate the financing of these projects for investors and financial entities.
