DNB has announced the issues that merit its special attention
this year. These include:
- recovery of financial buffers
- sustainability of financial institutions' business
models
- better risk management
- integrity of the financial sector
- better prudential reporting
DNB's theme-based supervision is inter alia aimed at
comparing regulated institutions, stimulating best practices and
assessing the impact of macro-economic trends on the sector.
Theme-based supervision will exist side by side with the DNB's
institution-specific supervision.
