On June 5, the Court of Justice of the European Union
("CJEU") adopted a judgment in Case C-210/16 stating that an
administrator of a fan page on a social media platform must comply
with EU data protection rules because both the administrator and
the social media platform act as joint controllers in processing
the data of webpage visitors.
