The SEC is updating the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval ("EDGAR") system's Filer Manual.
The EDGAR Filer Manual details formatting requirements for electronic filings submitted through the SEC EDGAR system. The changes include amendments to several forms pursuant to the Jumpstart Our Business Startups ("JOBS") Act. The updates to the EDGAR system will become effective on July 17, 2017, and the related EDGAR Filer Manual changes will become effective upon publication in the Federal Register.
