On March 1, 2017, the Senate easily confirmed Ryan Zinke, a Montana Republican, as the Secretary of Interior.
Zinke, a former state senator, Navy SEAL commander and avid hunter and angler, has positioned himself as a Teddy Roosevelt conservationist.
