After the second consecutive year of reports noting women only comprise a small portion of leaders within corporations in the Greater Philadelphia Area, female executives throughout the region are requesting that companies be more proactive in bridging the gap.
"The company should be looking down the road to someone who is a leader and who has the skill set who they can bring up as a leader," said Stephanie Resnick of Fox Rothschild.
Resnick also suggested the possibility of instituting term limits for company board members. "It would allow the board and the company to refresh itself," she said.
