Paul J. Labov was featured in the Law360 article "Fox Rothschild Picks Up Ex-Edwards Wildman Bankruptcy Pro."  Full text can be found in the February 12, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

Paul Labov has joined Fox Rothschild as a partner in the firm's Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department.

"We are excited to welcome Paul to our New York team," said Yann Geron, co-chair of the firm's Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice. "His vast experience representing banking institutions, private equity and hedge funds and bondholders will be a valuable asset to our clients in New York and across the country."

Labov, who cut his teeth under the tutelage of current U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-NJ, at a boutique bankruptcy firm, will be resident in the firm's New York office and said he is looking forward to working with the firm's "incredibly deep bench" of bankruptcy lawyers.

"It's an incredible place for me to learn and hone my craft," he said.

Labov noted that part of the reason he was drawn to the firm was his relationship with Fox Partner Michael Menkowitz with whom he recently shared a case, and marveled at how cordial the relationship remained given they were on differing sides of legal battle.

"It was a great outcome for both sides, and when the case was over — a few months later — we started talking and said maybe it would be fun to work together," Labov said.

Labov noted that he "couldn't be more ecstatic" over his brief time at Fox thus far, pointing out the collaborative and friendly nature of the firm.

"Everybody, and I mean everybody from the staff up to the most senior lawyers, have come by to say hello, offered to jump in and help out," Labov said. "I was blown away. It was just so professional, I wish I had [made the move to the firm] a year and a half ago."
