FDA Releases Draft Environmental Impact Statement On FSMA Proposed Rule On Produce Safety

In the January 14, 2015, Federal Register,
FDA announced the availability of a Draft EIS for the proposed rule
establishing standards for the growing, harvesting, packing, and
holding of produce for human consumption under the FSMA (see above
story for additional details). FDA will hold a public meeting on
the Draft EIS on February 10, 2015. Comments due March
13, 2015.
