Derald Hay was quoted in The Journal of the Pocono Plateau article, "Jack Frost National Seeks Sound Alternative for PennEast Compressor."  Full text can be found in the January 22, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

Construction of PennEast's 108-mile interstate pipeline has caused public concern over its impact across the Pocono region.

In letter to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Blue Ridge Real Estate Company's counsel, Derald Hay, voiced his clients "substantial concerns" over a location in PennEast's October 2014 Request for Approval of Pre-Filing Review.

Citing a disturbance to "the health and welfare of the Kidder Township Community" Hay requests that the FERC require PennEast to identify a "more suitable location" for the 32,745 horsepower compressor station."

The letter indicates a belief that the station may exceed EPA's recommended noise threshold.  Exhibits provide an alternative site option.
