September 20, 2012, Manchester, New Hampshire and Woburn, Massachusetts:  The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association, with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, New Hampshire as well as Woburn, Massachusetts is pleased to announce that Jennifer L. Parent has been nominated to serve on the Executive Council of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, ("NCBP").

Holding meetings in conjunction with the American Bar Association, the NCBP brings together the Presidents of state and local bar associations throughout the United States to share best practices and experiences.  As the immediate past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Jennifer will serve a three-year term.  As a member of the Executive Council, she will work with the NCBP's Officers to govern and administer all NCBP programs.


Jennifer is a Director in McLane's Litigation Department and Chair of the firm's Employment Law Practice Group. Jennifer has tried cases in state and federal court to both juries and judges. Her practice involves representing large and small companies in employment and business disputes.  She has represented employers in the areas of employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, trade secret, non-competition, and non-solicitation.  She has frequently been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers USA and New England Super Lawyers.

Jennifer serves as a member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Rules Advisory Committee and is a member of the Women's Business Committee of the Smaller Business Association of New England.  She is president of the New Hampshire Alumni of Suffolk University Law School, and serves on Suffolk's Dean's Advisory Committee. 

Jennifer grew up in Litchfield, New Hampshire. She received her BA, cum laude, from Boston College in 1992and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, graduating summa cum laude in 1995.
