With the general election just over a week way, the three main parties – Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat – have all now released their Manifestos. Each party has given different levels of detail on their policies on around employment and employment rights and, to help you understand and compare the parties' policies, we have set out the key points in three separate articles.

As in other policy areas the Conservative and Labour parties have set out radically different approaches to the matter of employment rights, consistent with the polarisation of politics that has featured since the referendum in 2016. The Liberal Democrats take a position somewhere between the two.
