The Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance ("GALA") has announced that it will hold its third annual "Advertising Law in the United States & Around the Globe" seminar at The Yale Club of New York City on March 22, 2019. The seminar will be held in conjunction with GALA's Annual Meeting on 21 and 22 March 2019. Attendees high-profile advertising executives, regulatory experts from US government agencies and regulatory bodies, and advertising lawyers.

The seminar agenda includes two main panel discussions. The first, which will include Adams & Adams partner and outgoing GALA President for EMEA, Jenny Pienaar, will deal with the important legal, cultural and ethical considerations involved in launching a Global Advertising Campaign. "The seminar gives us as leading advertising lawyers from around the world, an opportunity to share our expertise in advertising regulation with advertisers and marketers and advise them on the challenges they face in relation to their global advertising campaigns." said Pienaar. "It is hoped that this panel will create awareness around advertising regulation developments worldwide."

The second panel discussion will tackle Intellectual Property Rights in Social Media Marketing & Other Global Campaigns. "Whether you're creating a global advertising campaign, or simply promoting your brand on social media, it is critical to take into account the different laws, self-regulatory guidance, and cultural concerns that may apply," said Jeffrey A. Greenbaum, GALA Global Chairman and Managing Partner at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz in New York City. "We are very pleased to bring together leading advertising lawyers from around the world to help marketers successfully navigate these challenges."
