Delaware Enacts Benefit Corporation Legislation
On July 17, Delaware Governor Jack Markell signed into law legislation enabling the formation of public benefit corporations in Delaware. In doing so, Delaware became the 19th state to enact this type of legislation. The new law will become effective on August 1, 2013.

Benefit Corporations: Twelve States And Counting

Shareholder Engagement And Constructive Dialogue On Human Rights
