Following the release of our Emerging Fund Manager Guide last year in Europe and the US, we've now launched the Asia edition with the view points of industry experts in the region. The guide has been put together with the next generation of fund managers in mind. It's of use to those looking to set up and add scale to a private capital fund.

We're seeing more and more investors looking to new managers for niche, tactical, added-value investment opportunities. This guide has been produced by our funds experts across the globe, in response to increased market interest in this area.

It's broken down into six key areas and provides useful information to consider in making a new manager's life easier in successfully launching a new fund, as well as highlights the main pitfalls and blind spots that are often overlooked.

The Asia edition features new contributions from third parties who we partnered with including KPMG, Orrick, Investec, Radiant Tech Ventures, Atlantic Pacific Capital, Simmons & Simmons, the EBRD and Solas Fiduciary Services.

We've had great success over the years in helping managers launch their first fund. A significant part of our success comes from taking as much administrative 'weight' off the managers' shoulders as possible – leaving them the time and space to focus on running the fund.
