Privacy Commissioner Expresses Concerns Over Potential Data Breach Of Online Survey Company

On July 7, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal
Data ("Privacy Commissioner") issued a
press release regarding a potential breach of personal data by
an online survey company (source document in Chinese). The Privacy
Commissioner is currently investigating the incident. The Privacy
Commissioner recommends that individuals or organizations
potentially affected by this data breach report it to the Privacy
Commissioner and inform the Privacy Commissioner about the
mitigation measures they are implementing in response to the
incident.
