Offshore law firm Carey Olsen's Guernsey team has advised UK-based Inflexion Private Equity on its minority investment in leading fleet payments and telematics provider Radius Payment Solutions.

Inflexion has invested £150 million in Radius, with the deal valued at £800 million, through its Partnership Capital Fund. Its investment will support Radius' continued organic growth whilst helping to accelerate sales worldwide.

Partner Andrew Boyce led the Carey Olsen corporate and finance team in advising on the Guernsey legal aspects of the deal and associated finance facility, assisted by Associates Rachel De La Haye and Jamie Oldfield.

Carey Olsen's advice included structuring and establishing the acquisition entities, and assisting with the negotiation and implementation of the deal documentation. The law firm also advised on Inflexion's closing of its first Partnership Capital Fund at £400 million in October 2014.

Mr Boyce said: "Carey Olsen has been privileged to work with Inflexion on its Guernsey fund establishment and fund acquisition deals for many years, and this latest deal underscores our firm's expertise in assisting with bringing transactions of this nature to a smooth and successful completion."

Established in 1999, Inflexion is one of the UK's leading independent mid-market private equity firms, investing in high growth, entrepreneurial businesses.
