On Aug. 23, 2019, Jaytex Group opened the first L.L.Bean
retail store in Canada at Oakville Place near Toronto, with plans
to add more than 50 L.L.Bean in-store locations in Hudson's Bay
stores across Canada by the spring of 2020 and up to 20 standalone
L.L.Bean stores in the country within a decade.
Jaytex Group is a Canadian distributor of quality, brand name
clothing and apparel based in Toronto. US-based L.L.Bean
manufactures and markets apparel and outdoor equipment.
Stephen Pike of Gowling WLG is advising Jaytex Group on bringing
L.L.Bean's retail stores to Canada.
