The Pilot will operate for three years, giving the Atlantic region the opportunity to attract – and hopefully retain – up to 2,000 additional immigrants.  In their article,  The Atlantic Immigration Pilot: A test flight for the Newfoundland & Labrador construction industry (PDF) as published in the Newfoundland & Labrador Construction Association's 2018 NLCA Construction Journal, McInnes Cooper Immigration lawyers Meghan Felt and David Nurse outline five key opportunities and risks of the Pilot and what the construction industry can learn from the experience with it so far.
