BC Reg 216/2015 was approved on November 23, 2015, and will
bring into force the majority of the new Societies Act on
November 28, 2016. All BC societies will need to transition under
the new Societies Act prior to November 28, 2018 and
federal non-share corporations who carry on activities in BC will
need to extra-provincially register in BC within 60 days of
carrying on business in BC after November 28, 2018.
