Symantec reportedly has released numbers in its June Intelligence report which reveal the global spam rate is at its lowest level since 2003. 

This follows market information that shows Canadian consumers prefer targeted messages: BIV reports that 54% of loyalty program participants would end their relationship with a retailer if they did not recieve personalized content or offers versus generalized messaging.

It also follows the Cloudmark study showing a 37% reduction in SPAM in Canada.
