On August 1, MCTIC launched a public
consultation (source document in Portuguese) regarding the
Brazilian Strategy for Digital Transformation, which includes
guidelines and targets for the digitization of the Brazilian
economy in the coming years. The proposal was drafted by an
Interministerial Working Group coordinated by MCTIC, and it will be
open to public comment for 30 days. The final version will be sent
as a draft decree to the Presidency of the Republic.
