AMA appoints next Secretary General
The AMA has appointed Dr Michael Schaper as its next Secretary
General. Dr Schaper will take up the position in late July. He will
replace Anne Trimmer, who will leave the AMA in August at the

outlawed in Queensland. Attorney-General and Minster for Justice
Yvette D'Ath said specifically scheduling these chemicals puts
their legal status beyond doubt, making it easier for law
