That's a wrap!

Contact Austrade approved QIP consultants to learn how to access or get help with your EMDG claim before the 30 November lodgement deadline. Full details below...

The last of our Austrade audits for the 2016 grant year has now been finalised, with a great end of year result.

We continue to maintain its approval under Austrade's 'Quality Incentive Program' (QIP) – a result of our continued focus on achieving an extremely high standard of EMDG applications. We take our approved EMDG consultant status with Austrade very seriously, which is reflected by the fact that our adjustment rate (i.e. % of claimed expenses disallowed by Austrade during audit) remains significantly lower than the average adjustment rate of non-approved consultants and self-lodging applicants. By lodging an EMDG claim with our partner, you can be confident that the claim we submit for you will in almost all circumstances be the grant you receive.

With the 2016 EMDG year now finalised for our partner's clients, it's now time to focus on the 2017 grant year, with just under 60 days until the 30 November lodgement deadline. In the months up until 30 November, Austrade receive roughly 40% of their submissions, so getting ahead of the queue will reduce the turnaround time of your application, getting cash flow into the business quicker than if a lodgement is made after 30 November.

If you aren't aware of the EMDG program or are concerned you won't have time to make an application before 30 November, all is not lost. As an Austrade approved QIP consultant, Glasshouse Advisory can submit EMDG applications up to three months beyond the usual 30 November deadline, until 28 February each year.
