Richard Levy, Jr., Co-Chair of Pryor Cashman's Bankruptcy, Reorganization + Creditors' Rights Group, will once again be a panelist at the Annual CLE Weekend of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys, to be held at the Newport Marriott in Newport, Rhode Island, on June 8-10, 2018.

The panel on which Levy will participate, "The Annual Bankruptcy Update," reports on hot topics in bankruptcy that are of particular interest to secured creditors. Joining Levy on the panel are: U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mindy A. Mora of Florida, retired U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Joel B. Rosenthal of Massachusetts, and New Jersey bankruptcy practitioner Stephen Falanga of Walsh Pizzi O'Reilly Falanga LLP.

In addition to joining in the panel's discussion of recent bankruptcy developments, Levy's presentations will include: the safe harbor for securities-related transfers under Section 546(e) of the Bankruptcy Code; an update on recent U.S. Supreme Court bankruptcy decisions; issues involving cram-down in Chapter 11 reorganizations; and recent cases affecting the treatment of intellectual property in bankruptcy.
