Carey Olsen is the only offshore law firm to be recognised in the top 10 firms advising LSE clients, according to the most recent (November 2013) Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide produced by Adviser Rankings Limited.

The guide highlights that 'Carey Olsen made creditable gains, although its relative standing remains unchanged' - referring to an increase in total stock market client numbers where many others in the top 20 have seen losses.

In the November report Carey Olsen has retained its position as adviser to the fifth highest number of LSE clients. The firm also held its leading offshore legal adviser position (and fourth overall) to small cap and fledgling clients and ranked third in the Alternative Investment Market table.

In the offshore law firms' tables Carey Olsen maintained a sizeable lead in the number of clients, 33 ahead of its nearest competitor.

The firm is listed within the top 20 firms for FTSE 250 and FTSE 100 clients.

Graham Hall, Carey Olsen senior partner, said: "Our continued lead in the offshore legal advisers table, and our place as the only offshore law firm in the AIM, small cap and total stock market top 10 reaffirm our market-leading position. The results are a testament to the continuing hard work and expertise of our expanding multi-jurisdictional corporate team and their commitment to client service."
