Today, as we celebrate our two-year anniversary, our Nigerian team is recognized as a leader in our region. The Andersen name now has a far greater presence throughout Africa through the Member Firms and Collaborating Firms of Andersen Global.
Since its arrival in Nigeria, Andersen Tax LP has been engaged in many landmark transactions, achieving significant tax benefits for its clients, getting the tax authorities to agree with views on tax benefits accruable to clients, to putting the investment structures together to help render the best returns to all stakeholders. In two years, Andersen Global's Sub-Saharan presence has grown from two offices in Nigeria to 13 countries from South Africa to Côte d'Ivorie. At the end of this year, Andersen Global will add a presence in as many as four other countries on the continent. The international association is on track to have a presence in close to 30 countries in Africa by the end of 2020.
Andersen Global continues to grow rapidly across the globe, with 53 current office locations throughout Europe, 18 in the Middle East and 20 in Latin America. The global organization added a presence in 46 offices in 2018 and 18 so far in 2019.
