The DQ sponsored ACSP Seminar on Tuesday 18 October 2016 is to be given by DQ's Leanne McKeown.

Delegates will be taken through an overview of the implications for employers of the Equality Bill 2016, which has completed its first reading and is due to be introduced into the House of Keys in October.

Drawing on case law examples from the UK and elsewhere, alongside her particular expertise, Leanne will share insights into how the law in this area has been applied and what Island employers can expect, both in the employment context and in consequence of the Disability Discrimination Act 2006, as well as offering practical advice on the appropriate next steps.

Leanne will also address delegates as regards the forthcoming changes to the FSA Rule Book and the need for regulated entities to have in place a free standing whistleblowing policy.

This seminar is with coffee and registration from 12 noon for a 12.30 pm start and is free to staff of ACSP member firms and to associate members.
