CFTC Names Chair And Members Of New Subcommittee On Margin Requirements For Non-Cleared Swaps

CFTC Commissioner Dawn D. Stump named Wendy Yun as Chair of a newly-launched
Subcommittee of the Global Markets Advisory Committee
("GMAC"). As previously covered, the new Subcommittee on
Margin Requirements for Non-Cleared Swaps GMAC subcommittee will
recommend actions to mitigate challenges to the implementation of
margin requirements. Ms. Yun is currently the co-chair of
SIFMA's Asset Management Group.
In addition, Ms. Stump identified other members selected for the 14-person GMAC
Subcommittee. She stated that the members have a
"high-level" of expertise on how margin requirements for
non-cleared swaps affect the market.
